Welcome to HIS Baking Co.! We appreciate your support of our locally owned bakery, café, and coffee trailer. By accessing our website, placing an order, purchasing products, or using our online services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. General Information
HIS Baking Co. offers freshly prepared baked goods, breakfast items, handcrafted beverages, specialty products, catering services, gift cards, and other related products and services.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify our menus, pricing, operating hours, and offerings without prior notice.
2. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to provide accurate information when placing orders, use our services lawfully, and refrain from interfering with the security or functionality of our website.
All original website content, including photographs, logos, written materials, and branding, is the property of HIS Baking Co. or its respective owners and may not be used commercially without permission, except as permitted by law.
3. Orders, Confirmation & Product Availability
All orders must be verbally or electronically confirmed by an authorized HIS Baking Co. team member before they are considered accepted.
Submitting an order request through email, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, social media, or any other communication platform does not constitute a confirmed order.
An order is not guaranteed, accepted, or scheduled until HIS Baking Co. has provided verbal or written confirmation.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have received confirmation directly from HIS Baking Co. before assuming their order will be prepared or available for pickup.
An automated acknowledgment of an inquiry does not constitute order confirmation.
Orders placed through our authorized online checkout system are considered confirmed when the customer receives an official order acceptance or confirmation from HIS Baking Co. or its designated ordering platform.
HIS Baking Co. reserves the right to decline order requests based on availability, production capacity, scheduling, or other legitimate business considerations, consistent with applicable law.
Our products are prepared fresh, often in limited quantities, and may sell out before our posted closing time.
If an accepted, prepaid item becomes unavailable, we will contact the customer to arrange an acceptable substitution or an appropriate refund.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Applicable taxes and additional charges will be disclosed before an order is finalized.
Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment providers.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. Customers will be notified before any additional charge is applied to an existing order.
5. Order Cancellations
HIS Baking Co. requires at least 72 hours' advance notice for cancellation requests involving prepaid bakery orders.
Orders canceled at least 72 hours before their scheduled pickup time may qualify for a refund.
Orders canceled with less than 72 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund because ingredients, labor, and production time may already have been committed.
Exceptions may be reviewed individually or provided where required by law.
6. Refunds and Product Quality
Due to the perishable nature of our products, food and beverage sales are generally final once fulfilled.
However, we value our customers and stand behind the quality of our products.
If you experience a quality concern, incorrect order, or other issue, please contact us promptly.
We will review concerns individually and may offer a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
7. Pickup and Delivery
Customers are responsible for collecting orders during their confirmed pickup window.
Because our products are perishable, we cannot guarantee freshness or availability for orders collected substantially later than scheduled.
Missed pickups may not qualify for refunds, subject to applicable law.
Orders placed through third-party delivery services may also be subject to the provider's terms and policies.
8. Catering and Special Orders
Catering services and special orders are subject to availability and individual agreements.
A deposit is required to reserve a catering date.
Deposit amounts, payment deadlines, cancellation terms, final guest counts, and other arrangements will be communicated before the booking is finalized.
A catering date is not reserved until the required deposit has been received and the booking has been confirmed by HIS Baking Co.
9. Food Allergen & Cross-Contact Disclaimer
Important Allergen Notice
All baked goods and food products at HIS Baking Co. are prepared in a shared facility that also handles wheat (gluten), peanuts, tree nuts (including walnuts), sesame seeds, coconut, milk (dairy), and eggs.
While we take care in preparing our products, cross-contact with allergens is possible.
Our facility is not a certified gluten-free or allergen-free environment. We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from these allergens.
This includes our gluten-friendly baked goods, which are prepared in the same facility as products containing wheat and other allergens.
Customers with food allergies, celiac disease, or medically necessary dietary restrictions should consider these risks before purchasing or consuming our products.

10. Gift Cards and Promotions
Gift cards, loyalty rewards, discounts, and promotional offers are subject to their stated terms and applicable laws.
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Any expiration dates, fees, or restrictions will comply with applicable federal and Nebraska laws.
11. Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, delivery providers, and social media platforms.
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Website Availability and Liability
